We all love to travel, to new places, new cities in cars, buses, caravans, by air, by the sea but I have travelled everyday since I was ten through books. I have let the ocean kiss my feet on the Coast of Ipanema and nosed around in Calgary and my travel expenses have never been more than the price of a McDonald Cheese Burger. Here's my travelogue where books can be found through the countries they have taken me to. The reviews are not professional and definitely not worth putting into a book review assignment for school! They are just a string of words that tell you what I felt when I travelled to a certain place. If it suits you, you go and book yourself a trip. If not, well...we'll keep it there!

The Hobbit, or There and Back AgainThe Hobbit, or There and Back Again by J.R.R. Tolkien
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finally! Yes, that's the word that comes out of my mouth whenever I think about having read The Hobbit. Finally! About a million people talk about this book on daily basis in the country I was living in for the last one year. Tolkien is still the most loved professor at Oxford and one of the celebrities we take pride in. I myself have been to the pub where he used to write and edit his books, have visited his grave which is covered with thousands of thank you letters and notes from fans of all ages! As for this book, it is a book that can easily divide a table between people who have read it and the people who will read it. (Yes, Tolkien lovers are optimists and believe in the day when everyone shall be a Tolkien lover!!)I was always in the will-read-it-someday group and I have FINALLY converted.

And my verdict, you ask me? Was the conversion worth it? Or is it one of the many things that are just over-hyped?

Well, my answer is, I am at the same stage that I was in nearly 11 years ago when I read my firstHarry Potter book. Please DO NOT waste my time by asking me to review it. I have to finish The Lord of the Rings now so, let us talk when I am done with that! Where is my book? WHERE IS MY BOOK?
