We all love to travel, to new places, new cities in cars, buses, caravans, by air, by the sea but I have travelled everyday since I was ten through books. I have let the ocean kiss my feet on the Coast of Ipanema and nosed around in Calgary and my travel expenses have never been more than the price of a McDonald Cheese Burger. Here's my travelogue where books can be found through the countries they have taken me to. The reviews are not professional and definitely not worth putting into a book review assignment for school! They are just a string of words that tell you what I felt when I travelled to a certain place. If it suits you, you go and book yourself a trip. If not, well...we'll keep it there!

GhostsGhosts by Henrik Ibsen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The one thing I enjoy about Henrik Ibsen is how developing a free thinking and being a free person was such an important part of his themes! Even if that was not the main theme, you could always find a character or two (usually a woman) who you simply fall in love with because of her strength of character. In A Doll's House , Nora suddenly realises the importance of standing up for herself when her rights are denied to her. In Ghosts Mrs Alving openly scorns the clergy and the society for imposing too much on women and for forcing them to 'carry on with their duties' even when they are in insufferable relationships with promiscuous men.
An enjoyable play, that questions the concepts of illegitimacy, inheritance, duties, charity, religion, and ideals, Ghosts is something you must read to be able to decide for yourself how you define the principles that a society holds in high esteem. DEFINITELY worth reading!
