We all love to travel, to new places, new cities in cars, buses, caravans, by air, by the sea but I have travelled everyday since I was ten through books. I have let the ocean kiss my feet on the Coast of Ipanema and nosed around in Calgary and my travel expenses have never been more than the price of a McDonald Cheese Burger. Here's my travelogue where books can be found through the countries they have taken me to. The reviews are not professional and definitely not worth putting into a book review assignment for school! They are just a string of words that tell you what I felt when I travelled to a certain place. If it suits you, you go and book yourself a trip. If not, well...we'll keep it there!

Emma Emma by Jane Austen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I sometimes get a feeling Emma is a book about me! I have probably spent a lifetime trying to "refine" people and I sometimes still find myself bossing over friends, children of close family relations and even neighbours, trying to expose them to better things in life, like good books, good movies, a better fashion sense and good music. Perhaps I need a George Knightley to come and teach me to mind my own business and to "live and let live."

"We do it to make the world a better place!," people like Emma and I argue and we both know it's not quite the right approach. People have different priorities and it's naive to assume that what's good enough for you is good enough for them.

That's what Emma is all about! About naivety and mothering to perfection, about being the benefactor! More than anything else, it's a book that has characters I am sure you have seen around you. One of the most realistic and amazingly funny stories ever, Emma is something every girl, at least, should read!
