We all love to travel, to new places, new cities in cars, buses, caravans, by air, by the sea but I have travelled everyday since I was ten through books. I have let the ocean kiss my feet on the Coast of Ipanema and nosed around in Calgary and my travel expenses have never been more than the price of a McDonald Cheese Burger. Here's my travelogue where books can be found through the countries they have taken me to. The reviews are not professional and definitely not worth putting into a book review assignment for school! They are just a string of words that tell you what I felt when I travelled to a certain place. If it suits you, you go and book yourself a trip. If not, well...we'll keep it there!

The Uncommon ReaderThe Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Fair Warning: This is not a regular review! It's more of a gushing-over-a-book-I-am-absolutely-in-love-with thing.
Oh dear God! I just LOVED this book! In fact, the only reason I docked off a star (and this may sound VERY silly!) is because it isn't a true story! I read the entire thing on a train journey from Oxford to Lewes and in the middle of changing 5 trains, so you can well imagine how gripping it is. It is also, however, extremely funny and extremely well written. Your eyes simply slip through the words, line after line, paragraph after paragraph and page after page. It was simply impossible for me to put it down because there isn't a dull moment!

I think the only thing I can say about this book without sounding like a I'm going to design and wear an "I HEART The Uncommon Reader" T-shirt, is if you love reading books and if you love reading books about books, just go and grab it!
